Play Media File Without Any Media Player !

If you are not willing to install too many media player for different format of media files or may be your computer is without any media player like office computer where they disable Windows Media Player also, but still you would like to play some music during your work ! then try this simple tricks in which you can play any media file without any media player in any computer that is installed with windows..!
First Download Audio/Video to EXE, which is a free ware application that convert Audio or Video file to a Self playing Exe Files and makes it independent of any media application.
It supports almost all audio/video formats like 3gp, aac, ac3, exe, flac, flv, gif, mp2, mp3, mp4, mpc, mpg, nut, ogg, ra, rm, swf, vob, voc, wav, wma, wmv, wv,..etc. This means that you can convert any of these formats into self playing EXE files. The program also allows you to convert media files into other formats, but advanced options like selecting bit rates etc are not available in this free version...!

When You convert the media file to a Self playing Exe file you will find that it is better than the ordinary media file because it will perform the following feature !

(1) Play music and movies on your office/school computer where all multimedia applications are disabled
(2) Send them to others without worrying whether they have the necessary players and codecs to play them.
(3) Create data CDs that start playing music whenever you insert it into the CD drive. Check out the tricks here :
Convert the music you want to autorun into an EXE file. Now open Notepad, add these line and save it as AUTORUN.INF.

Replace music.exe with the correct file name.
Place both AUTORUN.INF and music.exe on the root of the CD, add other applications you want to burn on the CD as usual and then burn it. Now each time you pop the CD into the drive, the music will start playing automatically.. Enjoy !

Samsung Launches 'Fastest' DVD Writer In India..!

A recent news in Tech2 says that Samsung India has launched the 'fastest DVD writer'. With over-speed recording, users can write at 22X speeds on 16X media and 12X speeds on 8X media. As lower speed media is more cost-effective, users can save money while burning discs at faster speeds...!Yes this is absolutely true, Samsung is the only company that brings out over-speed performance in its new The SH-S223 drive that enables consumers to burn data at high speeds - even on low speed media. It enables consumers to burn 4.7GB on a DVD±R disc in approximately 4 minutes and 26 seconds, a 6 percent increase in speed compared to a 20X DVD writer. It also takes less than 12 minutes to burn 4.7GB in DVD-RAM format, which is a 30 percent increase in speed over a 20X DVD drive. Samsung's new SH-S223 drive supports SATA interface, the dominant interface for PCs.

Make Your Own Virus and Scare your friends ..!

I got a nice tutorial in Helpero with which you can scare your friend or make a joke with them to show that their computer is infected with Virus, Its really a very simple process, just follow the stapes :
1) Create a shortcut in desktop : Right click on the desktop and go to New -> Create Shortcut.

2) A window will appear where you will asked to type the location of the item : here you put this code : shutdown -s -t 60 -c "Virus Detected Computer is shutting down."
(here Instead of the 60 you can put any number, actually it is the time in second after which the computer will shut down by itself showing a pop-up window that "Virus Detected Computer is shutting down.")

3) Now click next and then it will ask you for the name of the shortcut, here you put any name, for example give it internet explorer, mozilla firefox or anything you like.

Now it is almost done you will get a shortcut icon on the desk top and now change the icon (hope you all know how change icon, if not then check it here), suppose you name it as internet explorer then change it with an internet explorer icon and delete the original internet explorer icon from the desk top, thats it when any one click on it to open the IE then computer will shut down itself showing the message. Like This picture along side...!

Isn't it a funny tricks? now if you click on the icon and you want to stop the computer from shutting down then just Start->Run and type shutdown -a, and press Enter. this is the only way of preventing it. Enjoy and Have fun !
