Two New Concept For Computer Mouse...!

Some latest design computer keyboard and mouse had been posted here that has some different looks, design and purpose too, but what about this two new concept...? The following two picture is of two new design mouse that helpero has find out and one of which is called Blow-up Mouse and the other is Moldable Mouse...!
In Blow-up Mouse the electronic circuity are put on a small flexible board. The body itself is just soft plastic. When you need the mouse, blow up the Jelly Click, attach the USB cable and you're ready to use it. It is waterproof, too.

The Moldable Mouse is made of lightweight modeling clay with a flexible polyurethane and nylon fabric cover that lets you mold it into whatever shape is most comfortable for you and it's The radio-frequency controlled mouse buttons and touch-sensitive scroll pad can be attached in what position suits you the best and it is the winner of the 2007 Red Dot Design Award in the category of Productivity and Work...
I am not sure about how help full will it be to the user but i liked the concept and you have to wait until it released or ask helpero to demonstrate more about it..!

AutoCopy In Mozilla Firefox...!

Guys check this out...! I just got a new Mozilla firefox tricks by which whenever you select anything from your firefox browser it will automatically get copied to the clip board and whenever you want to paste it to some where just do it with the middle click of your mouse..!
I don't know how much it will be helpful to you but for me i can say that it's an interesting tricks for your mozilla firefox...!Anyway first of all download the AutoCopy extension which is a kind of add on for mozilla, Get it from Here...! After that You'll notice the new icon in the status bar, which will let you change a few options or open up the full options panel. Some more option will be available in the options panel… you'll notice the keyboard shortcut options as well.

Now you are done and all you have to do is select the text you want to copy, and it will be copied to the clipboard right away and paste it any where with the middle click of your mouse....!

Reduce The Start UP time of Vista...!

I recently upgraded my self from Windows XP to Vista and i noticed that it is taking much more time than XP to start up, and while surfing internet i found a simple tweak by which you can speed up the boot up time of vista.. just follow the steps...
Windows Vista provides a simple method to delay the startup of a service so that you can boot more quickly.The service will still eventually be started, but in the background after you are already at the desktop and the process is called Delaying Service start up
Search in your start menu search box by typing the keyword "services", or you can get in the administrative tools section of control panel...Here you will find some less important item like the Cisco VPN client required by my employer, or services installed by your printer etc which are not required by you but are starting along with Windows start up..

Select the above mention service or those service which you think in not required by you, right-click on it and choose Properties (or just double-click it)
Now change the "Startup type" drop-down to "Automatic (Delayed Start)", close the dialog and then go on to the next item.
This process will surely reduce the start up time of your Vista and it recommended that you make one change at a time..

HCL MiLeap launched In India...!

HCL has recently released it's two new Lap Top in India, one is the X series and the other is the Y series and this two are jointly called as HCL MiLeap X and Y Series Laptop.. This two are nice and cheep as the X series cost only $357, yet they are powerful and portable...The X series notebook (above image) is quite similar to Intel Classmate PC and is loaded with Intel 915GMS chipset with a Celeron ULV 353 processor running at 900MHz and 512 MB of Ram. it runs Linux and include 2 gigs of flash storage, a 2-in-1 card reader, a pair of USB ports, built in speakers, WiFi in the b/g flavors, and a 6-cell battery that should last about 4 hours. Oh, and it only weight 1.44 kilograms with its 7-inch 800×400 color LCD.

The other model has the A110 800MHz processor from Intel and Intel 945GU Express chipset. but It has 1GB of RAM, an 80GB HDD, 3-in-1 card reader, a pair of USB ports, 1.3MP webcam, WiFi in the same b/g flavors, a 7-inch 1024×600 touchscreen LCD, and runs Vista Home Premium (barely, if I had to guess). It weighs even less than the other model at 960 grams, and has a UMPC/tablet look about it, its also my personal favorite of the two, but its also the one without a price.

Security Hole in Microsoft Excel........!

Microsoft Corp. said hackers have found a way to use some older versions of its Excel spreadsheet program to take over control of people's computers.

Microsoft said late Tuesday that it is investigating reports of such attacks, but has not yet determined whether it will patch the hole, or when.
People who open a specially crafted Excel file from an e-mail attachment or visit a compromised Web site could be inviting hackers to take over their PCs for malicious purposes such as stealing passwords and other personal information, or sending out spam. Microsoft Office Excel 2003 Service Pack 2, Excel Viewer 2003, Excel 2002, Excel 2000 and Excel 2004 for Mac all contain the security hole.
The software maker said in a statement that users of these programs can protect their computers by using a tool that scans the files for bad code before opening, called Microsoft Office Isolated Conversion Environment.

The most recent versions of the spreadsheet program, Excel 2007, Excel 2007 SP 1 and Excel 2008 for Mac, are not thought to be affected, Microsoft said.

Super Hi-Vision (Ultra HD) coming somewhare in 2015..!

Recently the Japanese government has announced plans to bring "Super Hi-Vision" (Ultra High Definition) to life as a broadcast standard by 2015.. It will include a 33 megapixel (7,680 x 4,320) resolution and 22.2 channel surround sound, it will also contain a built in Camera to record every thing and and equipment to transfer the 24Gbps uncompressed streaming data..

The are calling it as "Super Hi-Vision", as it will show images of about 33 million pixels which is 16 times more than the present Hi-Vision technology, said by a high-definition TV technology developed by public broadcaster NHK, and he also said that The ministry was expected to spend 300 million yen (2.7 million dollars) on start-up research starting from the fiscal year in April...

IBM to Supply Software for Apple Devices

Email software from IBM Corp. will be available on Apple Inc. iPhones and iPod Touch devices under a new partnership that brings together two big rivals of Microsoft Corp.
IBM plans a formal announcement of the Lotus Notes email package for Apple's portable devices at its Lotusphere conference in Orlando, Fla., next week. The software, which requires use of IBM's Domino email server program, will be free for users who already have a Lotus Web-access license and start at $39 per year for new users.
IBM also plans to release Lotus Notes and the free Lotus Symphony "productivity" package – which includes documents, spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office-like software – for Apple's Macintosh computers.
With these moves, IBM is trying to find more avenues for its software and take advantage of Apple's natural affinity for Microsoft alternatives.
The iPhone already can connect users to Web-based email services and to corporate e-mail sent over Microsoft's Exchange email platform, though businesses rarely enable the setting that makes it possible.
If IBM, which counts 135 million Lotus users worldwide, can get companies to let their employees check Lotus email on iPhones, the partnership could make Apple's gadget more competitive with Research in Motion Ltd.'s BlackBerry and other business-targeted smart phones.
IBM and Apple, competitors in the early years of the PC market, traditionally have not worked closely together in software, though Apple used IBM chips in some Macs for several years until ditching them in favor of Intel Corp. processors in 2005. But now the sides appreciate that "we have a lot in common," IBM spokesman Mike Azzi said. "We're going to cross-pollinate."
One reason for the distance between the two companies is the small overlap between Mac users and the big corporate customers that commonly buy products from IBM.
Now, Apple hardware has become a broader platform with the popularity of the iPhone and Web-enabled iPod Touch devices. However, Apple has delayed fully opening the devices to third-party applications; a "software developers' kit" to enable that isn't due until next month. Hide A File in Two Simple Steps......!

For long time i had not posted any post contain windows tips and tricks as i was more busy in posting latest reviews on gadgets and specially news from ongoing CES 2008.
Anyway I got a windows tricks from Digit forum posted by vaibhavtek, in which you can permanently hide a file and you will be the only person who can view and access that file.. Some time it is necessary for us to hide some file that is private and confidential or that contain some important data.. Just follow the two simple steps :

1. Open a notepad and write down
@echo off
cls
attrib +r +h +s drive:\WRITE THE LOCATION OF FILE.file extension
exit
suppose your file location is drive C: , and your file name is a.txt, then type this :
@echo off
cls
attrib +r +h +s C:\a.txt
exit
2.Save it as bat file(ex. hide.bat)
3.Run it

Now When you need to view or access the file then do this:

1.Open a notepad and write down
@echo off
cls
attrib -r -s -h drive:\WRITE THE LOCATION OF FILE.file extension
exit
(just replace the "+" sign before r, s and h of previous code with a "-" sign )
2.Save it as bat file(ex. show.bat)
3.Run it

In this method no one can view or access the file bu checking the "show hidden folder" option from folder option and you also need not install any software to hide your files... just use this two simple steps..
the file will only be shown by "Show System File" but no one will know that ur file is a system and they also don't knows the what is the name of the file, here the name will act as yoyur password.....

Sony has released the first OLED display in the US, with the 11-inch XEL-1 available now at select Stores for $2,500. Japanese customers have been able to purchase the 3mm-thick XEL-1 since late last year for ¥200,000, but the US has had to wait until now to get its organically 1,000,000:1-contrasted fix. The XEL-1 also offers support for DMeX so consumers can download content via the BRAVIA Internet Video Link service..Now recently Sir Howard Stringer just announced plans to launch their 3-mm OLED TV into the US market, it will be offered for "limited sales" in the US (Sony's second launch market) sometime "next year."
